I’m sure you notice there are a few changes on the blog.

Sometimes you come full circle. I started a “life” blog a few years ago and branched off into weight loss. Then my whole life became about weight loss and you see where that’s gotten me? This is one of the reasons I have moved from my weight loss twitter profile back to my original twitter profile.

Another one of the reasons I switched is because I was being influenced, sometimes negatively by others. Or, more like by myself, comparing, wondering what was wrong with me, getting wrapped up in trying to be “in” with the popular kids.

So really. This is going to be much more of who I am now. I’m going back to liking myself again. I hope you are going to like that part of me too.

Definitely go back to liking yourself. You’re a nice and great person Renée. You don’t have to compare yourself to others. You are you, same as I am me. Remember that the ‘popular kids’ have mistakes and problems too, nobody is perfect.

I like the new lay-out of your blog.

Thanks Fran. For ALL your words. Not only should I not compare to others but I need to stop comparing to myself, the one that lost weight and maintained it. It was more than 10 years ago and it was a different life really. I need to focus on now celebrating the good bits along the way!

Liking yourself is SO much more important than losing weight, in the grand scheme of things.

Do what makes you happy. Always. 🙂

I love, love, love it! I can’t wait to see what you chat about.I too have noticed how much I enjoy writing on my non-weight-loss blog vs the weight loss blog. I think I may slowly transition there.

I’m still going to focus on my health, but I need to be ME again. the whole ME. not just frustrated trying to lose weight me. I’m much more than that!
